Improve Nutrition is a public, collaborative database of food composition operated by Iterative Intelligence.

What the service receives

Improve Nutrition asks for no account and no personal information. Its tools receive food names, quantities, and nutrient selections. Personal details such as goals, meals, preferences, allergies, or health information are not needed and should not be sent.

Contributions are public and permanent

A contribution — food values, sources, methods, notes, the model, provider, and service reported for each estimate, the time, and the HTTP user agent of the service that sent it — is published to everyone through this website and the Improve Nutrition tools. Every revision stays in each food's public history. Contributions should never contain personal information.

Operational logs

The service is hosted on Google Cloud. Google Cloud processes the database and request logs on our behalf. Request logs (such as time, path, and IP address) are used for operation and security and retained for 30 days. This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising. Your AI host processes your conversation under its own privacy policy; this service receives only the inputs sent to its tools.

Support requests

If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you send so we can respond. Do not include sensitive personal information. You may ask us to delete support correspondence after your request is resolved, subject to any applicable retention obligations.

Corrections and removal

Operators can restore an earlier revision or take a food out of current results; these actions do not erase public revision history. Contributions are retained indefinitely as part of that history. Avoid contributing information you do not want made public. To report a problem or request removal of personal information, write to support@letsimprove.com. We review removal requests individually.
